Hi friends!

I just got back from my two week training camp in Gainesville, Georgia! Thank you for keeping me in your prayers, I really appreciate it! I’m currently working on a couple blogs about the amazing things God revealed to me at camp but didn’t want to leave you guys hangin’ (because I’m sure you’re all sitting at your computer or by your phone just waiting for that alert that I posted a blog about training camp) hehe! So, just to keep you all occupied & give you the excitement of receiving an alert from me, here is a list of some things that happened at TC.

  1. Traveling independently is so much fun!!!

  2. Cleaning yourself consisted of a 5 gallon bucket, a measuring cup & some very cold water straight from a hose.

  3. Everyday was a different culture & we ate what that specific culture would eat.

  4. Cockroaches taste like dirt smoked in a traeger. (above)

  5. Comparing bug & spider sizes that appear in or on our tents & even sometimes on our legs was a norm.

  6. A midnight evacuation from our campground to the main building took place multiple times because of thunder & lightning storms.

  7. As much as I tried, I don’t think I could ever get used to the mugginess of Georgia or the drinking water that was constantly warm because of it.

  8. There’s nothing more exciting than when the poopy truck arrives to freshen up the porta-potties.

  9. Even when you have the smallest squad & lose all of the activities during camp, you can still win squad wars! (GO Squad X)

  10. Stacking 5 hammocks is quite an adventure & fun!

  11. We killed the fitness hike with many minutes to spare!

  12. When you & a friend are given an option to sleep in a one person tent or two person tent, choose one… it’s a fun adventure!

  13. Inhaling flour is not a fun time & will result in biscuits being made in your mouth, nose & hair.

With all this to say, it was a great time at my two week training camp!! I had lots of fun getting to know my AWESOME squad & trying many new things, even if this consisted of eating weird bugs, taking bucket showers or constantly being crusty from that Georgia heat.

Thanks for tuning in <3 There is more to come but I hope this gave you a little glimpse of my time at camp!
