Hello, Hello, Hello!
WOW! Here I am at Launch & it still feels so surreal. Like, whaaa?! Is this seriously happening or is this just a 4 day training camp & then I’ll be back home? Throughout the day, I sometimes think “Oh I can show or tell my family this when I get home” as if it were only a camp. But then I quickly remember that this is LEGIT! Guys! I’m going to be in Romania in a couple days!!! It’s becoming so real!
Launch is 4 days packed with last minute details & training’s! I feel so honored to have been chosen to be a part of the logistics team for my squad. Two other ladies & myself will be responsible for the team budgets, which cover all expenses regarding travel, lodging, food and supplies for our time on the field. And planning transportation, debriefs & more! I’m excited to serve my squad & be a part of this side of ministry!
Today is my last day in America!!! Tomorrow afternoon my squad & I will be saying our last “see ya later” to America & will be making our way to Amsterdam where we will have a 3 hour layover before heading to Romania!!! Please, someone pinch me… this feels like a dream!!!
Here are some pictures of the process & ending result of packing for a nine month mission trip.
My clothes, shoes, sleeping bag, pillow, sleeping pad, tent & gear that fits in my 70 L pack.
All put together & weighs 45 lbs. (Thanks Mom & Dad for the help!)

Please continue to pray for my squad as we fly out tomorrow & are all experiencing many different emotions. Thank you!
Stay tuned for my next post that will be from Romania
